Introducing TCGSold

11 April 2026by TCGSold

If you've ever sold trading cards in the UK, you know the frustration.

eBay takes 12.9% plus 30p. Facebook is a mess of no-shows and lowballers. Vinted wasn't built for cards. Shopify works, but you're paying £25/month before you've sold a single card — and it knows nothing about TCG.

We built TCGSold because we're collectors too, and we were tired of the same problems everyone else faces.

What is TCGSold?

TCGSold gives you your own online card store — without the monthly fees or technical headaches.

You get your own store. Your own URL. Your own brand. List your Pokémon cards, Yu-Gi-Oh! singles, MTG staples, One Piece hits, Lorcana pulls — whatever you're selling. Buyers browse your store, add to basket, and checkout directly with you.

No bidding wars. No auction anxiety. Just straightforward sales from your store to your customers.

Why We're Different

5% flat fee. That's it.

When your card sells, we take 5%. Stripe's payment processing (around 1.5% + 20p) is separate and visible. No monthly subscriptions. No listing fees. No final value fee surprises.

Compare that to eBay's 12.9% + 30p for business sellers. On a £50 card, that's the difference between keeping £46.50 and keeping £43.20. It adds up fast.

Or compare to Shopify's £25/month + 2% + 25p. You'd need to sell over £500/month just to break even against TCGSold's fees.

Built for cards, not clothes.

Every feature we build is designed around how card sellers actually work:

  • Condition grading that makes sense (NM, LP, MP — not "good" or "like new")
  • Set and expansion categories so buyers can find exactly what they're looking for
  • Graded card support with PSA, CGC, and BGS fields built in
  • Bulk listing tools because you're not uploading one card at a time

Verified sellers buyers can trust.

Sellers can verify through Stripe Connect (free) or Stripe Identity (£9.99). Verified badges mean buyers know they're dealing with real people, not throwaway accounts.

Who Is This For?

  • Casual sellers clearing out duplicate pulls who want more than Facebook offers
  • Side hustlers building a card-selling business without eBay's fees
  • Established sellers who want their own store without Shopify's learning curve
  • Local card shops wanting an online presence that actually understands TCG

Whether you're selling a single Charizard or running a full operation, TCGSold scales with you.

What's Next?

We're launching soon with support for:

  • Pokémon (all eras, English and Japanese)
  • Yu-Gi-Oh!
  • Magic: The Gathering
  • One Piece Card Game
  • Dragon Ball Super
  • Disney Lorcana
  • Flesh and Blood
  • Digimon
  • Sports cards
  • And more

Our mobile app is coming too — buyers can discover stores, browse inventory, and purchase directly. Sellers can manage their store, update listings, and track sales on the go.
